National Museum of Iran
The rare and very precious treasures of the largest archaeological museum in Iran show the moving history of Persia from prehistoric times to the Islamic era. The stone tools of the Neanderthals are for sure worth visiting, as well as the finds of the excavation sites around Persepolis and Sosa . The Glass and Ceramics Museum
The stunning building which shows us gorgeous decorations made of glass and ceramic is a landmark itself. You can admire ceramics from the fourth millennium BC, prehistoric finds of glass work, masterpieces, incredibly beautiful terracotta decorations from the 4th-7th century. The National Crown Jewelry Museum
This collection of beautiful precious stones is kept in the underground treasure chamber of the Iranian National Bank. Among the immeasurable treasures that date from the time of the Safavids to the reign of the last Shah of Persia are richly decorated crowns and the jewel globe, filled with 51,366 gemstones, on which the sea of emeralds and the continents are made of rubies.
