Handicrafts souvenirs in Yazd province are various, some of which are would famous including carpets with charming patterns, cashmere carpet, Termeh, velvet, earthen ware, engraving, glassware and leather ware. These handicrafts are   suitable to be kept as souvenirs. Yazd is also famous for itʼs various sweets, the most well-known are Pashmak ( cotton candy ), Baqlava and Qotab

Termeh is an elegant, hand-embroidered silk fabric with fine threads of gold woven in, similar to a brocade. Usually in paisley designs (Boteh), you can find it made into a variety of products such as shoes, bags, tablecloths and jewelry pouches

Qutab is an almond-filled deep-fried Iranian cuisine pastry prepared with flour, almonds, powdered sugar, vegetable oil and cardamom

Baqlava is 'Queen' of the sweets, star of festive tables, one item no one passes when offered and served. It made with almonds, pistachios, cardamom and rosewater. Is nothing like the Lebanese variety made with phyllo dough and drowned in honey

Pashmak is a form of Iranian candy floss or cotton candy, made from sugar. Pashmak is served on itʼs own or as an accompaniment to fruit, cakes, ice creams, puddings and desserts. Pashmak originated in the Iranian city of Yazd during Safavid Empire

These small bazaars is from the center of the city include a bakery, a butchers shop, a traditional apothecary, a green grocers, few small workshops, a mosque and an underground water reservoir. The small bazaars of Kushk NO, Shah Abolqasem and Qolam-Ali-Khorasani are of this type



What we now see as a network of Yazd old bazaars is an extensive urban architectural complex located at the south of the city
